INSTRUMENT PILOT

Here at AFT Center we create competent aviators through our IFR Program. We offer a modular training environment much like being at school. Everything is carefully forecast and recorded so that you always know what subjects you are following and what’s coming next.

Our Modular Course consists of a maximum of 3 flights per week each of around 1.5hrs. Following our Part 141 curriculum and Jeppesen for your proficiency delivered by an Industry known professional. You will also be classroom based with our seasoned Flight Instructors who will teach you about the aircraft systems, weather, flight planning and a range more of exciting subjects that will on graduation, have you flying in the clouds!

This course is included in our Professional Pilot Program.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read, speak, and understand English

  • Must be at least 17 years old to obtain your rating

  • Hold a current FAA Medical Certificate (Third Class)

  • Hold a Private Pilot Certificate

WHAT YOU WILL GET

  • 35 Hours of Aircraft time in a Cessna 172 or Piper PA28 aircraft

  • 35 Hours of Flight Instruction

  • 25 Hours of Ground Instruction

  • Graduation Certificate

  • Training conducted under Part 141
